Like I said, I need to write in it during the day so I don't miss out!
Today we went on a tour of the old city of Caceres. It was beautiful! More than what my pictures show...Since we had this tour we didn't have class today which is nice because usually on Wednesdays I have close from 9 until 2...no me gusta! Anyways, during the tour we went into a few museos (museums) and saw water well caves, and Spanish leaders dressed up that the KKK actually took their outfit idea from. Very interesting, but kind of creepy in a way standing there with about 10 of them dressed like that. When we got back home we had sopa de fidello (noodle soup with eggs in it) its my favorite! I didn't take a siesta today because I had some things to get organized and figured out on the computer. Then we meet up at la cruz (the cross which is a common meeting point for the group) and walked to la estacion de tren (train station) to buy our tickets for our trip to Lisbon, Portugal tomorrow! I am so so excited to do some traveling. It will be a great site and so much fun! Our group gets along so well so it works out perfectly! We are thinking about getting margaritas before our train leaves at 2am tomorrow! I can hardly wait for the trip! I don't think I'll bring my computer so you will have to wait for another blog! lo siento! We had homemade pizza and french fries tonight for dinner. I absolutely love the fries here! Probably a bad thing...jaja and the pizza was different but very good as well! We asked our host mom about all the places we should visit in Spain. So far I want to go to Valencia para las fallas, Badajoz para los carnivales, Sevilla, Costa del Sol, Barcelona y Madrid. I also want to go to Italy (I'm probably going for Spring Break!), Ireland, Germany, France and England. I don't think I have enough money for all of this though so I will have to make some sacrifices.
Well that's enough for tonight because I have to get up at 7:30am tomorrow para la escuela!
